About Us

G&B cliffsWe are Gary and Beth Hodges and we currently live in Gulf Breeze, Florida.  We have a daughter Molly who is a violin performance major at University of West Florida.

Gary served as Worship Pastor at Calvary Chapel in Gulf Breeze for 14 years, from 1990 to 2004.  During that time he was engaged in coordinating and leading worship with a worship team as well as a worship choir.  He also directed a children's choir, a drama ministry and oversaw the technical aspects of worship services and special events.

Beth worked alongside Gary in his work at the church in many ways.  In addition to being the principal pianist in the Praise and Worship bands, she led worship for women's Bible studies and other events.  She also homeschooled Molly from kindergarten through graduation from high school.

We teach private music lessons out of our home -- Beth teaches piano and Gary voice. Together we write music and drama, lead worship and perform.  Molly is an accomplished musician in her own right.  She is a violin performance major at University of West Florida.  In addition to playing violin, piano/keyboard, guitar and accordion (yes, really), she also writes, sings and has led worship as well.

Coast Community Church in Gulf Breeze is our current church home as well as our sending church (they are sending us out from there to do our missionary work).

About Our Ministry

To find out how we got to this point and involved in this ministry you  can get the full story in our blog , beginning with our May 19, 2006 post.

We have been commissioned by an organization called  Greater Europe Mission  (GEM) to work in Ireland in the area of Worship Development and Resources.  We are able to use our experience as worship leaders over the past 18 years in our interaction with pastors, worship leaders and worship teams throughout Ireland.

Our Vision:

To equip and train up worship leaders
and musicians in the Irish church
        to better enable them to
            move the church forward
and reach the Irish people with the Gospel.

Ireland has a long history of Christian influence in the world, but that has changed. Today, less than 1% of the population are  Christians living by faith in Jesus Christ.  The churches there are small and scattered and have very few resources.

God has called us to full-time service in this small island nation, and we are working right now to raise the needed financial support to get moved and live there.

If you are a part of a worshiping church fellowship, you understand the value of an effective worship ministry, led by well trained, Biblically founded worship leaders.  In our ministry we do what we can to help facilitate worship leaders and their teams to do what God has called them to do with integrity and skill.

How are we funded?

Our work is funded through Ministry Partners, individuals who believe in what we're doing and who have a heart to see our ministry succeed.  Many have come on board with us, committing to a monthly amount of pledged financial support, trusting God that as they make the sacrifice for His work in Ireland, He will bless them for it and enable them to meet their commitment.   We still need a good number of additional Ministry Partners and we're working hard to find those individuals.

We are excited about what God is doing in the churches of Ireland and want to invite you to consider partnering with us in this ministry.  You can play a integral role in building up the body of Christ in Ireland and beyond.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the infallible, and the authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  This is made available to us through faith in Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

Worship Philosophy

Worship must be at the heart of the Christian life.

Christian worship is based upon revelation and response.  It begins with revelation – God revealing Himself to us through His Word, His creation and the Holy Spirit – which then moves us to respond.   We worship God because of Who He is and because of what He has done.   Jesus tells the Samaritan woman in John 4 that "God is spirit and those who worship must worship in spirit and in truth."  Our worship must originate in our spirit, but must be founded upon the truth, which is Jesus, “the Word” and Scripture.  Following from this, any worship practice that cannot be substantiated by Scripture must be brought into question.
